I ordered it from Suncoast

I ordered the bluetooth and iPod adapter from Suncoast today and will let you all know after it's installed sometime next week.

Bluetooth & IPOD Adaptor

Didn't see your post on how the install went for your bluetooth and IPOD adaptor? Are you satisfied? If so, would you provide some details?

I am planning to go with the NAV-TV unit for the CDR24. My understanding is that it will provide both IPOD connection plus an aux (although IPOD does have to be controlled directly and not thru the stereo). I'm told by the local install shop (highly recommended) that the Dension unit is no longer available -- way too many problems. They advise that NAV-TV is a quality product.

I can't comment on how well the Dension works (or doesn't), since my MOST ring was just configured by my dealer to read my GW 500 today, and my wife is picking it up on her way home.

Regardless, I suspect their view may be influenced by the fact that Bumper Plugs has an exclusive US distribution agreement for the Dension, meaning a lost sales opportunity if you go that route.

navtv just figured out how to get tv (external video) on the PCM2.1 for 987\997; I first saw that page a few weeks ago as well. Unlike the Cayenne units that are made with a TV button; I believe the solution for 987\997 requires soldering to work; as the original difficulty was not having video-in capabilities in the unit. I'm sure they will have more details on their website or the units will show up on ebay (that's where their satellite integration kits first showed up, before their website), when they get it ready for mass production.

the ipod functionality works better with dension, i've seen it work...i've owned a navtv but had way too many problems with it, even after having it updated and installed by pro's...good luck! now happier with the D3 btw ;-)
