 Destination Road America! - [Sept. 3rd-7th]Croctoberfest 2009 will be held in conjunction with the Chicago Region's T.R.A.C. event at Road America. This event annually features over 500 Porsches including many rare and vintage race cars.

Cayenne Video System from Dension!

 Now that's Entertainment! We are happy to announce that Dension has provided us with a special combo for any 2005 or newer Porsche Cayenne with PCM. The combo consists of the ever popular Dension Gateway 500 combined with the new Dension AVR video unit to display video on the PCM screen. The Gateway 500 enables iPod, Bluetooth and USB connectivity into the Porsche PCM system. Many of our members have added this product to their Porsches.  Have it YOUR Way! We are pleased to announced that members of the site who log in can now customize both the Home page and the Forums page layout to their own preferences. In essence YOU can decide how you want PlanetPorsche.Net to look to you! I've enabled this functionality on the home page and the forums page, although it is somewhat limited on the forums page at the moment.

I think the months are flying by even faster now, didn't I just do a newsletter the other day? Sure seems like it! Well the "Big" news this month is the announcement of Croctoberfest Registration and some more of the event details. Not everything is completely finalized but only a few small details remain. This should be a terrific event with more items spread out over more days and at a lower cost than in the past. Seems like a win-win to me!
I've added a few new features to the site, including the ability to customize both the home page and the forums to your liking. I'll be tweaking it in the future as well. We're just trying to provide you with the ability to customize and enjoy your Planet Porsche experience as much as possible! Speaking of which I am opening a Middle-Eastern forum for our members in that area of the world, along with a new file sharing section of our Files area so members can swap data files, etc.
We'll also be finalizing our new Planet Porsche window decal and posting the ordering information as soon as we can, keep an eye on the forums for more details.
Although we had a couple of sponsors choose not to renew due to financial difficulties (one even went out of business) we do have some new sponsors this month so be sure and check out their products and services (See sponsor update). Speaking of sponsors we now also offer an Alphabetical listing of all currently active sponsors here:

Some of the sponsors still need to fill in their descriptions, but hopefully this also provides a quick resource as opposed to our full sponsor banner page that takes longer to load and is organized by sponsor level instead of alphabetically.
Is anyone out there interested in publishing a regular item in our newsletter? Some sort of column so to speak? If you think you might be interested, please contact me! I'd like to offer our readers some variety.
Did you know that your must have your browser set to accept cookies from our website to remain logged in? I still get a couple of emails a week from folks who are blocking cookies and thus cannot log in. Please trust our site and allow it to give you a cookie!
